We're a family of three, and have guests off and on.. especially kids who apparently weren't taught how much TP to use.. so we probably change ours 3-4 times a week. we use cottonelle, which we get for free using points at kmart.

I've been wanting to figure that out lately - keep track of when I put in a new roll and when it's gone. Seems it goes quick. Sometimes I ask my hubby if he eats toilet paper because it goes so fast. He must use a mountain of paper to wipe his butt, otherwise it would last longer. We use Quilted Northern by the way.

Oh, that is so funny! Did he confirm that he has been secretly eating it?

I don't buy cheap toilet paper. That is one area where I won't skimp. I buy Charmin Extra Soft Mega Rolls. Every time I've ever bought a cheaper brand, they've been awful and the 2 of us wind up going through at least a roll a day. Now I stick with what I know and like.

@MsBooklover I'm surprised it would get stuck in the toilet since it's only single ply.

@just4him It may have been the toilets themselves.

I never heard of that. Some people in this area have a problem with Scott getting stuck in the toilet. And you know? It never showed that anyone answered this discussion. I found it when I went to my discussions.

That is what it has been doing for me most of the time.

Angel Soft and I guess I never really think about how long it last. When I get down to like 3 rolls I go buy more. I guess maybe a week.
Some products you can buy generic some not so much. Last thing I want is to be wiping with sandpaper.

That is excellent...is there just one person in your household? What brand do you buy?

@MsBooklover There is only me. I buy Cashmere mainly, but I'll buy whatever happens to be on sale at the time.

I buy the store brand since it works as well as Quilted Northern. I don't know how long a roll will last. We are a family of 4 and it seems like we go through them fast some weeks.

Quilted Northern seems to be very popular.
