Doctor doesn't believe me

I sometimes get really sensitive skin, painful to touch, even very lightly.
From research it seems to possibly be mechanical allodynia but as it is difficult to monitor/see my doctor doesn't believe me.
Anyone else had a similar sort of problem? How did you resolve it?

I haven't yet, I've been thinking about it but most of them near me are too expensive or not taking on new patients

That must be really uncomfortable. I am so sorry to hear that. How long have you've been suffering from that?

I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds really uncomfortable.
I would see a different dr.
I haven't heard of anything like it - but I know that lavender essential oil is good for skin concerns such as burns
