It depends what you mean by a 'troll'. If you find someone's posts irritating, the best thing to do is to simply ignore them. If you feel that you are being threatened or stalked, you have the option of blocking that person but do check the Guidelines and, if you believe that someone is violating them, the best thing to do is to report the offending post. You can also send a PM to @GoAskAlice about the behaviour and he will take appropriate action (usually just a warning is enough).
Occasionally, myLot does encounter real trolls. Generally, Admin is aware of them and will deal with them swiftly and terminally, though it sometimes takes a while for them to give up their shenanigans!
One thing you should certainly NOT do is to play the same game back at them! You will only encourage them to keep on doing it and you may both end up in the dog house ... or even losing your accounts!

@Berrygal Right. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Trolls want to be in the middle of attention... The best option for me is not to give them any attention - just ignore

So far I have no issues. But I received a PM yesterday, telling some one wants to talk to me and also provide the whatasap number and mail id. I don't know the intention of the sender. I have not seen the user with any topics here. I just ignored the same.
