Cheese Rolling Wipe-outs?

I just saw a very unique Video people rolling from the Top of the hill downwards, but i don't know what they after, maybe they do it for fun. hope i can do it for myself so i can feel what they feel by rolling down extremely from the top of the hill.
Did anyone here experience that cool things? can anybody share?

Yes, it's for fun!
When I was in island and I went to swim in the sea, I used stood up in the coral reefs and jump on part that there's no rocks or reefs, I find it fun..
