A Busy and Fun Weekend

Happy Monday Everyone! I'm very late getting here today. It was a fun weekend having the grandkids here but boy am I tired. Needless to say I got up late and have been slowly but surely getting into the swing of the day. I can't believe that we're already at the 4th of June and I know this month will disappear as fast as the previous ones have. The weather held off on Saturday for my son and son in law to pressure wash the deck. It's in worse condition that they thought so it will need another pressure wash and then a scrubbing with a bristle brush before they'll be able to do the stain. I'm not in any hurry to have it finished so I'll go with the flow whenever they are able to come and work on it. We can still use the deck meanwhile. Having the whole family together on Saturday was fun. We just did the usual pizza party, the weather was nice enough for the kids to run around, play Frisbee, tag etc. and get rid of all that boundless energy. The weekend grandkids didn't leave until late last night so we had some quality visiting time after all the cousins left on Saturday night. Once everyone left I was happy to fall into bed last night and slept like a log. I think I was smiling in my sleep from all the fun we had over the weekend and I wish we could do it more often. Now, life is back to normal and very quiet compared to the last few days. We'll be having an easy dinner tonight...just grilled chicken with salad. Anything new with you today?
