My friend Linda, who likes swimming. She often go to the swimming pool, which is 1.5 meters depth. She practises for one hour for each time, and 3 times a week. Now she can swim 1500metres long in 50 minutes.
But she darenot go to the swimming pool which depth is 2 meters. She is afraid of being drowned.
ask question:
is it the same to swim in shallow water or deep water?
Will there be a risk for swalling water or death of diving becuase of bad skill?

I learned to swim as a child. I still like to swim. I am not afraid to swim in deep water. One way to keep from drowning is treading water in deep water. Does she know how to tread water?

If your friend can swim in water 1.5 metres deep, she should be able to swim in water 2 metres deep or 20 metres deep - there is no difference.

As long as she can swim and tries to stay close to the wall, she should be fine. I am a terrible swimmer but I can still go near the 2meter area, any higher though I stay away that's just because I'm bad at swimming haha
