Fight for Water.

There is an old age joke where people used to believe that there will come a day where people will fight for water.
But now, that joke is the most serious issue in a country like India, as two states are fighting over a river saying that one owns it and not the other.
It is very sad to see that people are claiming their rights over natural resources and even more worse that they are not willing to share with the others.
Natural resources like water, air and fire are the gifts of God and are not owned by anyone.
I wish people realize this as soon as possible.

@SiddharthV This is true, humans always wait too long, until it's too late.

That is correct and no one will be too worried about it unless and until it is too late.

We have in a a drought for about 5 years now. We do not get enough water that we need in winter. Winter is the only time we are suppose to get rain.

And it is so annoying when they think like that. God gave all this not only to human beings but also to other animals.

This type of attitude is also spreading into the Western world. In some US states it is illegal for people to collect rainwater in rain barrels on their own property. This is preposterous thinking. Yet there are bottling companies like Coca Cola and Nestle who buy the rights to fresh water all over the world and use it for their own gain.

That is correct, these big corporations are taking away all fresh water and people in villages and towns are left with nothing.

In fact the next world War could be over the water. Major Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore etc all are facing major water issues.
