I Guess gone are the times when most used to wear Wrist watch and its common for all to wear as you are required to be on time at all places and this is most important thing when you visit to someone.
These days most like to check Time from there Mobile phones, basic or Smartphones and I feel only those wear wrist watches, who doesn't like to have a Mobile phone when they travel or those who have huge sums of money to Buy Apple Watch or of Other brands like Rolex and other such.

I am surprised by what you say, I see MOST people here wearing their wrist watch all the time. I always wear my wrist watch. Imagine that when I work in my garden I do not have my mobile phone with me, but I can read the time of the day looking at my wrist watch. Incredible miracle of the modern times.

Like you mentioned with smart phones, it's just easier I believe. I haven't worn a watch since beginning of high school. It's not bad perse, but some watches are still really nice looking in my humble opinion.

I gave up my wrist watch several years back and have my cell phone handy. My wife can't be without her wrist watch, since she rarely has pockets to carry a cell phone.

I don't wear one because I don't like the feel of cold against my skin. I know it warms up but those cold moments. Nope I refuse to deal with that. I don't even wear necklaces because of this. If I must I will wear one that is thin enough I don't feel a thing. Or one made of thread or any material that won't feel cold.

I don't wear a watch because of allergies. I had one along time ago that had a cloth band that I was not allergic to but I can not fine another one like that.
