Van full of Show dogs stolen in CA

A big white cargo van in California on their way to a dog show.
Stopped to grab something to eat and the van was stolen
There are 14 dogs inside!
there is a reward now of $12,000 being offered to find the dogs and van ASAP
there is a computer in the van that is on and it was last pinged to be in Cascade CA. if you are in that area.. keep an eye out for it.

Not my area, but dang! I hope the dogs are found. Why would you leave the dogs unattended...

They went to get food and the van was too tall to fit thru the drive thru.. so they went inside.. left the car running with A/C on.... not a smart move.. I can leave my car running and take the remote and lock the door... don't know why they didn't do that.
but hindsight is 20/20... these dogs need to be found fast. :(

@infatuatedbby yea it is so sad.. I hope they are all found safe and sound soon. they have been locked in cages all day!!!

@minx267 Yes, I read the news article because they were hungry and went to In & Out, but they could have ordered food in the drive thru.....
Oh not all cars have the remote? Like the viper or where you can leave car running, lock while take the key also.
i don't think the dogs will be killed or anything, may be sold off.

Me too.. yes they were foolish not to lock the door or leave someone in the car and go in one at a time! everyone living on this planet should know other people can not be trusted!
I feel for the dogs... it has now been about 7 hours and these dogs are all still locked in cages... this is horrible!

is the van found now? i hope the authorities will find the van and the dogs. so hard to know that even there in your place, there are people who don't have the heart for dogs.

@ridingbet As far as I know they have yet to catch who did it.. he abandoned the van in the woods and it was found by a new helicopter that was out looking for it. so unless they dusted the steering wheel for finger prints.. .. I don't know if they are going to find him.. the photos from the surveillance cameras were pretty fuzzy.

may i ask if the suspect who stole the van was arrested? i have not yet read fully the post that you shared on FB.

I think they found these dogs but it's such a terrible crime for anyone to try and commit. I have a rescue dog who was used as a puppy mother and eventually starved, left in her own excrement and abandoned. I think people who use dogs like this must have absolutely no morals or conscience.
