I don't have children but I know that both of my sisters use tylenol for their kids.

when my son is sick i give him tylenol. It works well. I have never heard of nurofen. My son don't like orange, or grape, he prefers cherry.

For simply pain or fever- I always use Motrin. It has seemed to work the best for my kids. But, if there's anything else along with the fever (cold, cough, etc) I am a faithful only triaminic user. I love that they have such an extensive line for specific symptoms, so I'm not giving my kids unnecessary medications.

Ibuprophen seems to be the best in my mind. It last longer than Tylentol as well.
