Good Monday morning to all, how was your Sunday?
We had rains last night and the temperature cooled down. I really enjoyed the rainfall that even though it stopped, I continued to stay up late because I watched the finals between Rafael Nadal and Mr. Thiem for the French Open 2018 championship. As what I expected, my idol Rafa won in 3 straight sets.
The rains do something good. Grass is growing in our dry lawn. Since June 1st, it has been raining in the afternoons or evenings, and the grass finally coming out is a joy to appreciate. The flowers and plants are getting more colorful and I also hear some chirping of the house sparrows, the buzzing of bees, and the butterflies sucking the nectar of some flowers.
For those who have summer as hot as our country and now with the rains pouring, do the grasses grow now in your gardens?

and since it is now the rainy season, maybe the seeds that we plant will eventually sprout and grow.

when our lawn is full of unruly grass, our dogs like to lie down and have their backs scratched by the grass. they enjoy the green grass.
Xander sometimes walks through this thick and thorny shrub , letting the leaves brush along his fur. he enjoys that

Our yard is very green at the moment. It won't get really hot until July or so.

@ridingbet It is nice. We will get hot in July and August, not sure how green it will be then but maybe this year we will have a rainy summer.

i still need the electric fan because it is warm at night. but when it rains, i would just open the jalousies and sleep with the cool wind only.

@magallon i agree with you. we do not have to move vigorously so our energy won't be used.
