My Dad is Suffering from Ankle Pain

Since last two months, my dad is Suffering from Ankle Pain. We have taken him to doctors and made him take medicine s regularly, but all went fruitless. He has also undergone physiotherapy but that too didn't heal his pain. This pain has restricted his movements. Can you suggest ways to heal the pain?

Yes, he has tried that too. But it didn't help.

It sounds like an arthritic condition. The treatment from a Physiotherapy is just temporary. There is no cure for arthritic conditions.

But this is making him depressed. He used to walk a lot. Now he is confined to home.

@deba12 It is normal to feel depressing with such situation. He shows the normal changes with geriatrics.

I think he has to undergo surgery finally. We are trying to avoid that.
