A lovely surprise

I had a phone call last week from my former boss, who is also a friend. (Technically she is still my boss, because I don't officially finish my job till the end of the month, but I am currently on holidays to use up my leave entitlement.) She said she wanted to catch up with me before the end of the month, so I suggested she come for lunch today. I thought there must be something about my work that she wanted to clarify, but instead she just wanted to give me a box of chocolates and a lovely card. Feeling appreciated.
