Do you do surveys?

Does anyone here hate doing surveys as much as I do? Despite the fact they are a good way to earn I find them so boring and repetitive. I will attempt a few short surveys because then if I get kicked off at some point I won't have spent too much time on it.
I see some people join many sites and seem to enjoy doing them but with the possible exception of Prolific Academic and Pinecone Research which I regard as quality sites I really dislike them.

@LadyDuck Yes we get plenty here but I get disqualified from so many.

@sprite1950 I get this all the time, I suppose that Switzerland both for languages and number of people is not an interesting country for surveys.

I can't stand the repetition. The same questions over and over and some of them seem completely pointless.

@sprite1950 That's what I found too. Not sure what they do with all of the 'data' they collect, but they must do something with it if they are willing to pay for it.

I generally knock out 2-3 surveys a day. Certainly not much more than that. I only attempt the short ones. I try not to spend too much time on them. I hate doing surveys, but sometimes it's good just to earn a few extra dollars.

That's how I feel. I do better on Grabpoints than any other site. TapResearch works best for me.

@moffittjc Grabpoints is really good for the US. I do quite well there but the US can do so much more. It used to be Zoombucks I think. TapResearch is just an ordinary survey site but they are usually quite short surveys.

@thedevilinme You must qualify for quite a lot, I do better on Grabpoints surveys than any other site so if I am going to attempt one I usually go there.

I do surveys, but I hate them. I don't have patience to do long ones and I only do them because they are a good way to earn money. However, I get frustrated when I attempt many of them and don't qualify for them. Some sites will give you points for disqualifying so that makes it a little easier to be motivated to do surveys. It does get boring giving the same info over and over again.

Peanut Lab and Tap Research give out disqualification points on GP and Irazoo but I hate it when it says a survey is 5 minutes and then you get into it and discover it's much longer. I can't stand the financial ones.

@sprite1950 Yeah that is my thing too. It says 5-10 minutes and then it takes 30 minutes in reality. The only site I like surveys on is mturk since they really are the length they say they are, they are higher paying, and you hardly ever get disqualified. Sometimes, there are bonuses given too.

@simplfred Prolific academic is a UK site but I'm not sure if it accepts people from other countries. I think it accepts the US. Pinecone is very hard to get into. I'm still trying but they did let me fill out an application form the other day so I'm hoping they will contact me.

I actually like taking surveys. Yes, sometimes they get on my nerves, sometimes they let me down and sometimes they just flat out aggravate me. Probably most any earning opportunity will do the same from time to time.
However, in the longer run I am usually pleased with the results. As one example, I was invited to complete a survey via email by one of the companies I'm a member of. It took me a comfortable 15 minutes to complete, it was interesting and I earned $10.00.
Another time, same survey company, a 20 minute survey I successfully completed earned me $7.00.
I stay in the survey 'game' for the long run.

@sprite1950 I certainly understand. Survey taking requires a great deal of patience. But with patience comes nice rewards as you can see.
I have countless smaller rewards that come into my account every week. It's an avenue that works for me even with the occasional headaches.

I am on Swagbucks and the main way I earn there (aside from occasional shopping online or dining out through SB Local) are surveys. I don't mind doing them, though I prefer when they are shorter in time. Some take over 15 minutes to complete.
There have been times where I get kicked out of surveys (disqualified or told too many participants, etc.) while in the middle of them, or even towards the end. And sometimes surveys stop working or I can't qualify for them at all. And that's very frustrating.
I am usually not bored or tired of them but sometimes I may not be into doing them so it becomes a bit dull completing them.

I never attempt a survey that is longer than 15 minutes as it's too frustrating to be kicked off. I don't mind so much if it's at the beginning .. sometimes I'm even glad if it's something I find boring,

@sprite1950 I usually don't do surveys more than 15 minutes either but I noticed that the time they show for a survey may not be the correct time for that survey when you actually take it.

@nela13 I saw your recommendation for Future Talkers on FC so I registered but I have never had any surveys. Do they email you if you if they have a new survey? Mobrog I was disqualified from most of their surveys and I do GlobalTestMarket surveys on Grabpoints. I don't know of Nicequest .. I've a feeling I applied once but they said the UK was not eligible at that time but would be in the future.
