Why would a woman want to take the life or murder her own unborn baby?

Some abortions are sought because of the infidelity in one's marriage and so to cover-up their unfaithfulness to their spouse, family, and friends, an innocent baby, the progression of an innocent life is destroyed. Some seek abortions because of being promiscuous with the opposite sex and therefore these women don't want the responsibility of caring for and rearing a newborn baby. Others use the term or phase "birth control" as a means of describing and justifying abortion. Then there are those who don't want to interrupt their careers and busy lives with a baby so abortion of their unborn baby to them is a "necessary option". I find these sad excuses to be unacceptable. And I know God does too. Has anyone considered God's feelings and thoughts on the matter of abortion? Most people don't want to go there. Many are afraid to consider what God has to say about abortion. What about the unborn baby's life and right to live?

I think it ia basically the vested interest of the people that is taking the life of an innocent unborn babies life denying the chance of enjoying the nature from it! That is a big sin! I strongly shun such activities! Thanks!

You're welcome. Abortion is a big business for the doctors, nurses, and clinicians who perform these unspeakable killings. I often wonder if those who perform such murders ever have a twinge of consciousness? Do they ever feel guilty or sad that they are murdering innocent lives? If a child is murdered outside the mother's womb, and the progression of it's tiny life is abruptly halted it's called murder. How much more so abruptly ending an unborn baby's life while still in his/her mother's womb? If a pregnant woman is murdered, the law calls that murder "double homicide". Think about it ??

@itslikethistome , For those people it is a routine and they conduct such operations without having any emotions. they conduct everything very mechanically. it is the mother who should think about the life of the baby growing in her! Thanks!

@kepweng , Let the government decide the punishment for this as they have legal and religious experts to give their opinion! Thanks!

Why is that? Why do most Asians feel that way? Is it for religious reasons?

I don't agree with abortion, unless the woman is raped. BUT it's each woman's choice to have one or not. Not mine, yours, or "gods".

@itslikethistome Well considering my mom and I agree on no to abortions unless raped.. she wouldn't have aborted me, since she wasn't raped. So nothing to think about there. And yes there are other ways to handle them, but rape is rape and most do not want their rapist babies. Which I fully understand, because that would not be an easy pregnancy, let alone many years with the child if they kept it, to go through. And that's coming from me, a person who loves babies / kids! The child has no rights, only the woman, it's up to her. simple. Rather you agree or not.

@Courtlynn At the end of day, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. However, my scriptural viewpoint is backed up by God and His Word the Bible. People can take or leave it. It's their perogative (Psalms 139:13-16, Exodus 21:22-25, Leviticus 26:9, Psalms 127:3). As I said earlier many don't want to acknowledge Jehovah God's feelings and His commandment against abortion. So to sooth one's conscience, there are those who choose to believe God is a myth, or that the Creator of life doesn't exist simply because they cannot see Him. These one's feel that God has no right to tell them how to live their life, when in essence God really does have the ultimate right to tell, me, you, and others how we should and can live our life successfully (Jeremiah 10:23). As a result of independent, selfish thinking, countless numbers of unborn, defenseless and just born babies are murdered on a regular basis.

When it comes to God it doesn't matter how an innocent unborn baby, through no fault of their own is conceived. Life is precious in God's eyes and so therefore abortion is murder. There are more humane, considerate, loving ways to handle unwanted pregnancies. Aren't you appreciative of the fact that you were not aborted by your mom? It is true people have the freedom to make choices in their life when it comes to abortion; but when it crosses the line of infringeing upon the right to live of an unborn baby, that freedom of choice becomes relative and NOT absolute.

What about women who are raped? Shouldn't they have a choice?

@itslikethistome You're wrong first off that most abortions come from infidelity. I dont know where you got your information. Let me ask you have you ever had to deal with being raped? Because I deal with the pain of that every single day of my life. You dont take away other people's choice to have an abortion because you dont agree with it. That's like taking away gay peoples right to marry because you're straight. If a woman doesnt want to raise a child because she became pregnant due to being raped I dont blame her. That's her choice not to have a constant reminder of what she went through.

Hi Jackie. IT is because they are irresponsible and selfish. In the first place, a man and a woman should be thinking of this before engaging themselves on such activities.

@mlgen1037 Louise, what can I say? You have added and brought out so many fine good points to this thread. Thank you for your insights and contribution to this topic. Perhaps, maybe our firm stand against abortion and our comments might change the heart and mind of someone who was contemplating an abortion. If we could just prevent one unborn baby's life from being destroyed, this topic and thread would have been worth the effort and participation. Lol! Louise you have put the "iceing on the cake"! There are many support agencies and groups in the STATES that support women who do not want to prematurely terminate their pregnancy. Adoption agencies exists for unwanted babies. There are many childless married couples who would love to adopt a precious infant. Also, other family members can help with the assistance of rearing and rasing a newborn. These options are better than ending one's unborn baby's life by abortion.

@itslikethistome Thank you, Jackie. These issues are important to me. I do not talk much about it but it matters to me. Many alternatives but sadly, women who experience this do not think of other solutions because they are thinking of many things for themselves and not for the welfare of the child. I am torn with those babies being killed because they do not deserve to be killed.

@itslikethistome No worries, Jackie. This is a real issue which I think needs attention and I like that it is talked about it in a "raw" manner. I do not mind at all. :) All our actions begin with a thought and with that we have a choice whether to do something wrong or something right. People have this notion that since we have free will we can do anything we want but we forget that in everything that we do, there is a responsibility that corresponds to it. That is what most people do and those decisions affect someone in the long process. Sadly, the world even consents to this. Look at media, the politicians and almost everyone allow this to happen.

Every life is precious to God whether it's outside the mom yet or not. I think our country will be held accountable by a holy God one day for the slaughter of these babies.

There are no options on the table when it comes to aborting an innocent unborn life from a scripturally speaking standpoint or from God's viewpoint. One or more person's raping the same girl or woman will only get her pregnant by the healthiest sperm of one male. HORRIFIC as it may be to be gang raped and abused in that fashion, I wholeheartedly believe as my heavenly Father Jehovah does. Abortion is totally wrong. Remember, it's NOT the unborn baby's fault that the mother was gang raped. By the way, at a certain stage of development of an unborn baby, he or she can feel pain.

Whatever excuses one has, abortion is abortion that is truly disgusting in God's standpoint. Sadly, some parents or pregnant women in particular think it's okay to commit abortion during early stage of pregnancy as for them it's just only a blood that's has just started to form in their womb..Just because they don't want to continue their pregnancy because of the "birth control" issue, some are doing their best in so many ways like taking pills or medicines that could abort unborn baby...some carries heavy objects or forcing themselves by working so hard or by simply doing heavy exercises or workouts.Sooo sorry not just for the little creatures inside of their mother's womb who has not given a chance to get born but also for the mother as well as still it's tagged as account of a MURDER although the baby is just in early stage of life progression....just because of the way of their thinking and being unaware of God's biblical standards. How about some cases that the pregnant women did not successfully aborted their children out of their womb? What about if the children born with different disabilities? Born or unborn, children are always be the one who will get affected with the consequences which comes from such selfish acts of that the parent or mother has done. How about the mother? Is she free from her fault in attempting abortion just because the child get born? Still, the mother had committed mistakes that will render account for herself to God.

@itslikethistome so true mom and I agree with you. Willful taking of human life just simply to avoid the birth of an unwanted child is totally invalid in the eyes of our Almighty God Jehovah...
