So, my wife was wanting one of those outside lounge chairs similar to what you find at pools. We went over to St. Louis and visited a new store that opened there called Watsons which specializes in pools, outdoor furniture, game room equipment, and other interesting things. They had the lounge chair for $150. I thought that was too much, but the wife really wanted that lounge chair so she could go out and sun on it more comfortably than the cheapie one we got a couple of years ago at Walmart or some place like that. On a hunch I thought that a local store on the Illinois side called Weekends Only might have such a chair. And lo and behold they did. We got the same chair, or practically the same chair, for $68 instead of $150. I call that a win. The wife is happy and the wallet is happy. The picture does not do it justice, and it is not setup on the back deck just yet. But either way, I am happy to say that by looking around a bit we saved $82.

I always shop around and especially online. It will take me ages to find what I want at the right price but it's better than paying over the top for a product. You saved a lot of money there,

Shopping around is certainly the best option for saving money. Impulse buying can be very expensive.

I was very happy I did not just jump and buy the first one we saw. The wife was actually disappointed when we left the first store empty handed. Like a good hubby, I made sure she got what she wanted AND saved some money too.

I don't know if it is a win. I still had to spend money. But either way, I got a good deal and the wife is happy...so maybe you have something there.

Well, it has no cushions, so for outside I think it will be fine. It's only the outside cushions that irk me. They look dry until you sit in them and then the wet creeps up on you.

She does and she did, and we still have it. In fact, it is sitting on the back deck as we speak, and she likes to sunbathe a bit on it after she gets out of the pool.
