I grew up with a strict parents. I have to admit that it was kind of annoying but lately i've realized that it is their way to discipline me. Which I'm glad that they did. I wouldn't be the person that I am now without their guidance. And I'm thankful for that.
Now, they are not as strict as they used to, maybe because they have trust in me. Do you have strict parents?

Yes I had strict parents and that is why I got excellent grades in school, went to college, and now have a good job, own a house, etc. They wouldn't tolerate any garbage and I'm glad for it.
Parents who spoil their children and enable them. . . they wind up with losers for kids.

@chicnthin Nope. Spoiling them isn't a good thing. Trust me.

Parents have differents way to discipline and raise a child. Maybe those parents who spoil their child is their way to show that they love them. Although too much is never been good.

I always obey them, ofcourse on what i think is right. I just think that they are doing what they think is the best for me. Maybe some child have really strict parents in which they couldn't do what they want to do. Luckily, my parents learn to trust me.

Yes, I don’t think people realize how thankful they should be for their parents discipline until they grow up and have children of their own. That’s when they realize that discipline is necessary, and it’s really hard to be a good parent.

There is no perfect parent, they have flaws as well but to raise a child is a hard thing to do. People need to be greatful and must stop being a rebel

My parents were strict about certain things but not everything. Good manners and etiquette were of utmost importance.

True. They only want the best for us. They let us do what we want with their guide and advice that they could give to us.
