THE MOST HONEST AND BLUNT BREAK UP LINES YOU SAID TO SOMEONE

If you have been into many relationships before, you are probably familiar with these lines: “It’s not you, it’s me!” “Sorry that it does not work the way we expected it.” “It is not working.” These are only few that I have heard many times before. And if you have been in and out with relationships, you had probably used one of the above break-up lines I mentioned. There was one memorable break up situation I remember. I had to break up with a high school sweetheart because my previous one came back and wanted a second chance. There was nothing wrong with the first one but I found myself still in love with the childhood sweetheart instead. I could not keep the two so I needed to decide. I broke up with my high school sweetheart and told them the truth that there was someone else and he needed to let me go because I would be forever cheating him in my heart. It was a dramatic situation but as a real man, he did let me go and even told me that I could always go back to him when things did not work out. And it did not but I never had the guts to go back to him to tell him he was right.

It wasn't meant to be. I broke up with my boyfriend of many years when I met my husband. The poor thing cried and eventually had a nervous breakdown. We've seen him around, and he had married my friend and is now divorced.

@cherigucchi Of course, I was shocked. We are almost in our 10 years, he was an officer in the army and he was assigned somewhere in the South while he leaves me in Manila to work. He never gives me a chance to explain my side, he just decided that I wasn't good for him and that I will never be a good wife. For 10 long years, he thinks about me not a good wife when all I did was follow him and loved him. It cried the whole night. And my work compromise for the break-up. And now we are a good friend, and he becomes a Priest now.

"I'm sorry it's not woking out. I tried but I can't." I said this to one of my long time suitor that have been my boyfriend for two weeks. I just couldn't teach myself to like him back.
