Yeah but it still depends on how the owner use it and take care of it.

Yes , I think it lasts more than 5 years, it depends on how much care you put in it, but of course it will not lasts forever.

My trusty laptop has been with me for 10 years already. Its what i'm using everyday, every night for a good 5-7 hrs a day. Still works fine. I dont do gaming or other stuff just simple task.
Btw, I dont think laptops last forever, no matter how much care you put into it, it may last you for several years but still its parts will soon expire its life span.

Yeah, I think it depends on what brand. Some laptops lasted more than five years.
