I need advice

Philippines
June 27, 2018 2:37am CST
I found a new job in line with the course I finished. I will be teaching this coming July in one of the private school near our place. I need advice from a teacher how did you manage your first day of teaching? What experiences did you encounter? How did you solve it? I am happy to hear your opinions. I am glad to hear from other people too. :)

Happy to know that you got a job of teaching! You need not pretend to be some one else to impress your students! Just be natural and try to understand the actual problems students have rather than imposing the subjects on their heads.Which I am sure you will master over the period of time! Thanks!

@iyabuccat , Not exactly but I used to take private tuition for tenth and twelfth grade students in science and Math when I was in college!

Personally speaking, I think it is better to know the students first. Be acquainted with the co-teachers.

Teaching is a noble job. For sure you will have a lot of experience (good and not so good) but think positive, you will learn from all of those experiences.

she's going to be teaching at a private school, not online, so it has similarities to your personal tutoring of academic subjects.
