Vegetarians still eat meat. Vegans are the ones who do not eat meat.

I disagree. Vegans do not use animal products like milk, eggs, and meat. Vegetarians do not consume meat but can eat eggs, or use dairy products. I believe you're wrong.

I am not vegetarian, but you should know that proteins do not only come from meats. There are plenty of vegetables that supply proteins.: beans, tofu, lentils, peanut butter, wild rice, chickpeas, almonds, oatmeal, cashews, potatoes, spinach... as you see they can very well survive without meats.

I guess we all could if we really wanted to but our love of meat over rides. Some Vegetarians do eat fish they are called Pescatarians

You get protein from beans, peanut butter and other sorces. Not just from meat.

I am a vegetarian. There are many vegetables from which one gets many essential nutrients required for the body.
