Hi Arunima. Education for me is to be able share a part of you to someone who might be able to learn and share it to others as well. It is a lifetime journey. We live and we learn.

@arunima25 Thank you, my friend. Education is more than going to school and learn different subjects. It is more of the experience and the interaction.

I think primary aim of education is to earn our livelihood. If you are educated there are many opportunities for you to get a job but if you have not completed your education, opportunities become very limited.

@arunima25 Exceptions are always there. People like Bill Gates are exceptions in Millions. If we talk about common man, he should complete his studies, if he does not have any other source of earnings.

That's a good view. But many like Bill Gates could not complete formal education but earn well and have provided livelihood to many.

@dpk262006 That is a valid point!! But there are common men also who are an exception to this and I know a few of them.

From my life's experience education changes everything in life. The people who remained uneducated who used to play along with us during our childhood are leading their lives in a pathetic way. On the other hand those got educated, they are leading a good life and are acting as good and responsible citizens. One of our friend having graduated Chemical engineering from India is holding a Key Post in Coca Cola, in US, he recently bought recent model of BMW. Other friends staying in India are very well placed and having name fame and money. Their wards are doing good, they are regarded as responsible and respected citizens. Education makes one wise and smart. Which brings about all the changes for good in one's life. Though people pass the exams in the name of education, for me education should be education in true sense and not merely getting a degree. Education in any field, may that be in Science, Commerce or Arts that must be pursued seriously to have the meaning and purpose in our lives. In conclusion, education is everything and it can bring every type of positive changes in one's life! Thanks!

In my country you don't have many options without an education. There are very few jobs to choose from if you don't have an education. If you do find a job it is usually a low paying job. If you want an interesting job with a decent salary you need an education. An education will give you a better future, but that isn't the only good thing. It is a way to learn new things and increase your knowledge, and it gives you a different perspective.

I totally agree with you. Even in our country India, the main aim behind education is fetching a good job with decent salary. Education and acquired knowledge definitely refines your perspective.

Education in the system of the world are tools to make our life comfortable .. however we also must give priority to educate ourselves about our environment, about the land and how things are affecting one another because without it we won't be here .. And of course, in this life, we're all teachers and students to one another .. we all learn as we go...

@arunima25 I have noticed this in some people, but here most of the time educated people are not impolite or arrogant. I think that this comes more from their parents than from the school.

Good points!! Education for everything that you mentioned. But as little from my day to day observations in life..I have found many people who did not get a formal education having a very refined manners while those having multiple degrees being rude and impolite out of their arrogance. Something to ponder about.!!
