Hi My Lot,
I know I took some time off of here earlier in the month, so I wrote kind of a June review then. So for this one I will focus on the June things I didn't already cover and goals. Starting with goals.
New Recipes : 4. - 2 weren't so great, 1 was so-so and one desert no less, was really quite good.
Exercise goals: 10 out of 12 days where goal was reached. Toward the end I really did try. But some days I was just too tired out. So I slept. Which is also taking care of yourself. :-)
8 Books read. (or listened to, as audiobooks). Had some really good ones in there this time. "Killer Next Door" - Marwood, and "Defending Jacob" - Landay were both really great suspense/thrillers, "Running Man' - Bachman (King) was much better than the movie, and "The Body is not an Apology" -Taylor is about living a life free of shame body and otherwise.
Didn't meet my financial goals. Partially due to finding a new website for clothing. Earlier this year I got rid of a ton of old, small, non-flattering clothes and now I have found a site that features tons of cool stuff in my size.
I know I mentioned some of my activities in the earlier post, so... other than that, I still have the cat that I'm watching, she is good company.
Dance troupe is preparing for being in a 4th of July parade.
I returned to burlesque class and will through mid August
Garden is keeping me busy
And... I hesitate mentioning it, was going to write it in a separate post, but I don't think it's worth the discussion. You know the guy who lead me on back this winter? Yeah, the one who is all hung up on the married chick? Well - yesterday there was a wedding in his family. You know, something like I could of liked to go to. But no, the married girlfriend came out here. I wonder what the couple getting married thought of uncle so and so bringing with a woman who is cheating on her husband to the wedding.
Mildly irritated. So I went online shopping. Muahaha. So there.
Today looks wonderful out and I will try to return to walking. 1 ) to prepare for the fair and 2) to hit an exercise goal for today :-)

I would so love to hang out with you! I wish it could be reality. (I will particularly be wishing this in winter even more so when it's terrible here, lol) But you, my dear, are so much more than a sidekick. :-) I think you're a super hero

As for J? The guy.... I'm partially irritated at myself for letting him get to me like this

So welcome! I find that knowing I will be writing about my goals really does help motivate me to keep on track, and a fun way to recap what's happening in my life. I hope you find the same :-)

@FayeHazel There is nothing better than retail therapy and kitties!!! Jay bought a new BMW we've been told. Perhaps we should borrow it without asking. Humph!

Jay seems to be an unlucky name. :/ Ah yes. I'm quite pleased with my new threads. I feel better now. :-) And Kitty is much nicer to me anyway :-)

@DianneN 2 of the finer things in life right there. :-)
Ha. My first thought was "I wonder if he bought it fair and square, or if he "borrowed" it from someone"

Sorry you didn't meet the exercise goals, but 10 is still great! way more than most - including myself - do.
Also sorry about that "man", however so glad you gave that up as he's obviously not learned anything if he's still talking to her and all that. smh.

@FayeHazel I hope you can get over him very soon.. maybe a new area would help you meet someone?

@Courtlynn True. I have wondered that. Maybe this area is just too small.....

Thanks! I was happy that I got close :-)
Thanks also. I am still in awe at myself that I'm this upset over it. But I am. It's possibly because I so rarely meet anyone that even sort of sparks an interest anymore... and he did (still does) for whatever reason...
