Eventhough i dont look jamaican, nor familiar with the culture, i have jamaican gene in my blood, my great great granny was half jamaican, ive never met the wonderful woman who passed down this recipe to my grandma. It's lamb stew jamaican style, we stir fry onions, garlic, chillies, & meat in hot oil, add water, coconut milk, & let it shimmered for 2 hours or so, lastly pour some red wine, and canned beans, keep boiling until the beans texture become softer til almost mushy.

I forgot to mention spinach, we usually eat it with boiled spinach and steamed sweet potato.

It's perfect with boiled spinach and steamed or boiled sweet potato.
