Thunderstorms

A little breeze and some distant thunder has moved closer and now the wind is picking up considerably and the thunder sounds louder as it moves closer. I'm really hoping that it cools things off once the rain comes and secondly that it doesn't interfere with our power. I just can't imagine not having a/c in this heat wave.
My daughter just went to pick up a pizza so I'm hoping she gets back before the skies open up. One minute it was sunny and then next thunder.
Crazy weather!!!

On June 3rd a thunderstorm passed through here and only gave us a few minutes of rain and a few loud claps @Marilynda1225

Didn't cool off very much but we do need more rain. The thunderstorm was more noise than rain

I do think we are supposed to have some inclement weather even tomorrow or the next day. I know it's the fourth and people will be celebrating but I think more people would like it not to be scorching hot and so wouldn't mind being rained out!
Anyway, I hope your daughter gets back with the pizza soon. What toppings did you get?

@Marilynda1225 Cheese is good too. I am weird about pizza. Even though it's been years since I was married, I seem to have a disposition for pizza. I will eat it sometimes but very rarely. I tend to eat it more when I am with one of my friends.

Oh it's the same here all the time. Weather can get crazy and unpredictable. We can have sunny skies and would hear it rumbling at the same time and a few minutes later, heavy rain pour.

Glad the peak of summer already left us here in Philippines. It supposed to be a rainy season now but seems the clouds get tired. I hope your weather will be better soon.
