Do you like to receive presents on your Birthday?

I sleep very early last night. Maybe because I did not have my afternoon nap.
I feel so tired last night and also maybe that is why I fell asleep early.
But I woke up at 3 AM and sleep back right away.
Now, I will have my breakfast and will probably go back to sleep after.
I don't know the weather outside because I'm still inside my room.
I was overwhelmed and very grateful that someone here gave me her advance present for my Birthday. I have never received presents anymore when my Birthday is coming. She is such a sweet and kind woman. I never expected it and I am so thankful. I felt there are people who really care about me even if she is miles away from me. And I wish her more blessing. I am not sure if she wants me to mention her name.

I'm so glad you got your birthday present, dear friend. I usually get handcrafts from my daughter on my birthday. Our family usually go out to a restaurant for dinner as a celebration.

@JustBhem A gift being rejected often makes the giver very sad. You did the right thing, accepting it (just to make her/him happy). I had to bite my tongue quite a few times, smiling happily and accepting gifts which I had no clue what I should do with them.

I like receiving presents. I don't care what the present is. I like the feeling that someone thought of me and bought or made something for me.

@JustBhem There was only one time when I was disappointed because of a gift. One of my close friends gave it to me and it was something that I would never use and it was really not for me. I had to realize that she doesn't listen me and she is not as close friend as I thought. Of course, it wasn't the only reason why I thought so.

Wow, glad to hear that you have received an advance birthday present for your birthday. As for me, I love receiving birthday gifts. It does not matter whether it's big or small, just as long as it comes from the heart. By the way, have fun on your birthday. May God grant all the desires of your heart.

I've been getting stuff even before or after my birthday. I think these recent years I prefer to be grateful that I'm alive and eating three times a day.

I do get presents from my family when it's my birthday even though there really isn't much I need at my age.

Hi there. That's so nice of your friend here to give you a present. How thoughtful of her. As for me, I don't mind getting birthday presents as well as not getting any. I'm pretty open about it, as long as it comes from the heart; that's all that matters. After all, it's the thought that counts; whether it's a sweet birthday wish, a present or a heartfelt gesture.
