Card replacement trouble

Today we decided to have our debit card replaced. Yup my mom will have her card changed since it's also been disabled. They're requiring cards to have chips (sim like feature) on the debit card. When I got there they were so many people lining up. Then the teller told me it's the people who are getting their $$ from social security and they're cards have not been replaced either. Some don't have funds. Even shocking that when it was my turn, they told to just do it online. I was told about that before here but they didn't tell what to check within the website. I did this today but I hope it goes through.

Unionbank? Card replacement for Unionbank card is to be done online. It took me at least more than a month before I had mine replaced.

@Letranknight2015 I think I had 4 or 5 tries uploading mine before they finally accepted it. I got tired of it so I went to the bank itself but they said "do it online". I almost gave up.

Were you able to make the applications for replacement online? It is easy but you have wait for the text. The text will inform you of when to get it at the branch you input there. I was told recently that all card replacementa requests will have to be done online

this is quite troublesome indeed. I had mine changes a few weeks back and it was quick because the company did it for us. I hope all goes well for you and your mom

They should have notified all their clients what to do to avoid falling in line for many hours and only to hear to check the web what to do to replace the card? That is not nice my friend. How nice to quarrel them
