Nowadays, I feel like the mainstream media is 90% business and dead on facts. This is about the news regarding the people working in the government trying to better my country, Philippines. I notice that if it favors the media station's business, credibility is no longer weigh more. Majority is focused is twisting the truth to engage people.
I mostly gather my information from social media from unbias and reliable sources whose aim is to inform facts. I am more selective on where to see and hear news when it comes to mainstream media since it can be easily distinguished now as to which company is twisting information from not.

@ayuzawa The same can be said with any media in any country. You have these media station with political bias even though they are very hard to deny them. I still think people are swayed and they confirm that they believe in what they see in the media. However, there is a growing number of people who use a lot of channels of information to pick and criticize what is said in the media and that is a good thing.

I trust the mainstream media. What I don't trust are the people from government spreading fake news.

I agree with you and right now "fake news" is a big issue in the Philippines.
