Build a Bear Craziness!

Over here in America there is a popular store chain called "Build A Bear workshop". Its pretty neat in that kids can literally build a bear from picking the type, add the filling, and then customize it with everything from voice messages to fairy wings and other accessories. Everything added is at a price and the starting bear (with nothing) is a little pricey. They had a marketing thing going on for kids to "pay their age" for a bear. So if a kid is 1 years old, they pay 1$ for the bear and then extra for accessories. I briefly thought about going but we are saving our money for our vacation. I'm glad we skipped it! the lines are soo bad they had to close them off since they are exceeding the limits for mall occupancy and other things. Would you really stand in lines for 5-6 + hours just to save about 20 dollars??? I think I'd rather skip it and do it so the memory of getting the bear is about making the bear and not dying of boredom for my kid in the line. Would you go? Not go? Do you have a bear from Build a Bear? Neither of my kids nor I do.
