Growing up my mom will always prepare us a heavy meal in the morning. Now, I only eat oatmeal with milk to cut longer time in preparing a heavy meal. I can say it is a good one too because it takes so much time to feel hungry again. Sometimes if I have enough time in the morning, I pair it with boiled egg and fruit.

I prefer a lighter meal for my first meal of the day. I eat bananas mixed with honey or a yogurt with some walnuts most of the time.
I will prepare breakfast as the evening meal sometimes. On the occasions that I do this, I will cook bacon, eggs, fry up some potatoes and bake biscuits. I am not a big fan of sausage and so I don't usually cook it with the meal.

@ayuzawa I believe the gneral consensus is that the morning meal should be somewhat heavy, the middle meal light and the later meal heavier. I don't agree. The morning meal should be lighter as I don't think the stomach is prepared for a heavy meal so early.

Eggs are good. Fruits with a cup of milk is also fine.

a good breakfast for me would mean a rice, an egg omelette, a ham and some tomatoes on the side.

@Jessabuma I usually have that for a heavy meal but just plain rice instead of fried ones.
