Followers???

From a financial point of view followers are of no importance. If you belong to the showing-off people, you may be proud if the number is high. Yet, who can one impress with it? I've never checked the number I have (will do that now) and never look at other people's numbers.

I have many followers from the old mylot. They aren´t here any longer.

If you like the way someone writes or the articles they post, you can follow them, use your follow list to go to their pages and find posts they have written that you may have missed in the feed as you scroll.

For some, having thousands of followers makes them feel popular and important. But that doesn't guarantee higher earnings. To me a number is just a number. I don't care about how many followers I have.

Having thousand of followers doesn't mean you can earn a lot or it doesn't mean it increases your earnings.. You get paid for interactions..

We don't earn from having followers but if I follow people it is because I hope that they will have enough topics for me to post.

no, having followers don't increase your earnings. even if you have plenty, most of them might be inactive so that in reality only few of those are actually interacting with you (namely, liking, responding, commenting on what you post)

Following doesn't increase earnings...it's just there to not miss discussion from the person you like to read discussions

I agree with your first responder. Up till now, I still don't know how many followers I have. For me, having some followers help one to check out some of the discussions so that they will be able to answer as many discussions as possible. It's a means of keeping touch, and having many discussions to fill one's myLotting time.
