Waking up in the morning...

Because your neighbours are using the power drill and it's 8:00, saturday morning! And it goes on for hours . We live in an apartment building and for the last 2 years this was happening every week. All our neighbours started working in their apartments and it seems the end is nowhere in sight . I took my family for a walk, by the time we got back, the noise stopped, fortunately. My son is sleeping so peacefully now .
How often did this happened to you? Had any argument with your neighbours?

That's why we want a house too. It's ok if your neighbour has something to do from time to time. But when all of them are doing this and dor so long... I'm not happy.
Thank you, he slept for more than three hours, we actually decided to join him and we had a nap for one hour too .

our place is somewhat quiet because only the passing vehicles sound loud; however this morning, a distant neighbor was having a quarrel with one of her companions at home. it is 3 houses apart from our house but the loud voice of one woman was what was heard here.

@Kasjnak well, maybe if i stay in a very quiet house, i might make some noise because i want my surroundings noisy except when i sleep at night. when i was still studying, i can retain more with what i review if it is noisy

That is loud. I miss my house on the countryside, there was almost no noise there . But I decided to move to the city and now my brother lives in that house, so there's no turning back. Plus, my job requires my presence here, not much to do I guess .

It is easier for me because I usally go to work before 8:00. But for my wife and son it's not ok. Last year he was just months old and he was really scared by those noises. I had to go and talk to the workers several times so that they will respect the pause time during the day. Those two hours were essential for my son's sleep.

@Jessabuma it is, but it happens, maybe I'll need to use the drill too in the future . The thing is, I just need a break for a while .

You are really lucky! We made plans for a house lately, maybe we'll buy one or a property where we could build a house. We'll see, this isn't gonna happen soon though .

@rakski apparently all my neighbours started renovating . I mean ALL of them. And not at the same time, one finishes, another one starts . Anyway, the last one said it's gonna finish next week, so I'll be really happy then . And I will start renovating too (I actually have to replace the pipes in my kitchen, but the worker isn't available yet).

. Maybe it is . I don't know, maybe if it was, I would've painted my house yellow or leave it as it was. I can imagine some blue houses now, it feels like Smurfs are real .
