Yes, I would especially when they're in good shape anf fit me comfortably. I have some restrictions however on buying undergarments. Otherwise, I'm perfectly Ok with this.

@august18 For me, I can afford new clothes. I just won't pay the price for them. In part, I tend to think the reason I have money is because I spend it very, very wisely. Amazingly, poor people spend money and rich people don't—part of the reason they become rich. And the most frugal people happen to be people with money while the most frivolous spenders are broke. Go figure.

@august18 I worked in a Thrift Shop where we had both used and good clothing. I bought a lot there. We had great stuff there.

@august18 I also found things I could not find anywhere else that I needed there. It was a great place. Too bad it closed down.

Yes, and in fact almost all of my clothes are bought at thrift stores like Goodwill and Savers. I just cannot bring myself to buy clothes new, and besides...if you shop in the right neighborhoods sometimes you can get some amazing deals for amazing stuff. I draw the line at undergarments, swimsuits, socks, shoes, hats...that sort of thing.

@august18 Here too as well. My wife is especially good at finding amazing bargains. I like to spend my money on fun stuff, and so it works out very well that we do not have to spend it on needs.

Yes, I do it. I do not buy undergarments either. I say everything else is fair game though. I do not give the clothing for gifts though.

Yes, why not? I did it before and I still do. Clothes are... clothes , nothing to overthink about. I can buy a really expensive brand new one, but why should I do that? I have better use for my money .

Not clothes for hygiene reasons. But I don't mind appliances or reusable items which are still in good condition.
