France Prevails In World Cup Final

After all the head scratching and wondering why so many of the favorites to win it all were eliminated, it was France who made the final Dance. 
It's likely that many of the heavy hitters like Germany, England, Spain and maybe Mexico are sitting back and wondering what could have or what should have been.

I would not call Mexico (they never managed to win even a 4th place) and England "heavy hitters", although the English team is promising and will have a chance for the next cup. For me the big surprise this year was the elimination of Brazil by Belgium. And I really liked to watch the final match, but I am French

Yes it was a high scoring match, much like this year's Super Bowl of American football. Both contests were an offensive powerhouse.
