What´s the Most Horrible Sound?

For me, nails down a blackboard, a person crying in pain or emotional turmoil, and metal scraping other metal. Oh - and my alarm clock in the morning.

lol i always do that to my mother... i take a spoon and a fork and i rub them together and she runs away... it's funny :P

In my house with all the windows closed and all doors closed and two blocks away you hear a car coming with that loud music blairing. All you can hear is the bass.

I know. It´s so dangerous too to drive along like that, oblivious to hearing horns or anything outside, totally engrossed in the music. Something else I hate which she has just started doing is my kitten Bo scratching her claws on the painted walls inside the house! I don´t know why she does it, the other cat doesn´t! Probably just to bug me.

The most horrible sound to me is a child crying because they're hurt. This is followed closely by fingernails scratching on the blackboard.

The sound that's made when your hand rubs a styrofoam cup (dont ask). Also people who smack or chew their food loudly.

Loud TV when I am trying to sleep, high pitched noises - like whistles or bells - and the alarm in the morning when I don't want to get up isn't very pleasent either! :o)

LOL!! Alarm clock's definitely one of the worst, isn't it?? And they always make them SO annoying! But then again, I guess if they were pleasant, you wouldn't wake up to them. Anyway, people dragging their feet (especially bare feet when they have dry skin) is one for me. Ohhhhhh!!!! Can't stand that!! And when people chew with their mouth open. Another sound I can't stand. *shudder* There's more, but I'll leave it at that. LOL

This screech/yell I can do. I modeled it after Jim Carrey's "most annoying sound" from Dumb and Dumber. I did it once for some co-workers of mine and a new lady who was in her 60's practically jumped out of her chair with fright. She was taken to the ER that night with chest pains. The Dr. said that she had a heart attack

Yea for me..the alarm clock deal is right up there with the worst sound ever when your child has seriously hurt themselves..its ear bleeding..but ya know what i also think is A HORRIBLE..AWEFUL..SOUND.,.the foam that comes in big boxes like your tv or vcr..and when you take it out IT MAKES THAT GOD AWEFUL SCREECHING SOUND!! WAYY WORSE THAN NAILS ON CHALKBORAD!!UGGGGG! that gives me chills!!
