Lugh69 Buffalo Soldiers were U.S. soldiers of African descent. The name was coined by Native Americans. They said that the soldiers had hair like a Buffalo (American Bison). In particular U.S. Cavalry soldiers of African descent stationed in the old west (1800s).

Lugh69 I say drama with action. It is based on true life. William Wallace did exist as did the other main characters, Robert The Bruce and King Edward. The battles all happened in real life too.

Beautiful weather, it is almost always sunny. It gets pretty hot in the summer but is really dry. The wind seems to blow constantly in the spring. Mild winters usually but tons of snow within 30 minutes drive to the Sandias....

Lugh69 I know what you're saying. I felt sluggish for the first 2 weeks I was there. But after that It was full throttle for me. Hiking the Sandias, football, running, etc.

Lugh69 I lived there for 4 years and there was at least some snow every winter. There was even a couple of blizzards. It's because of the elevation, over 5,000 feet, that they get more varied weather than some other SW cities.

Lugh69 Yes, at the the NM State Fairgrounds. They also have horse racing in Santa Fe and Ruidoso.

Lugh69 That's true. You don't have to pay them at all you can say that you will only deal with the original creditor and they will likely drop most of the interest and late fees if you pay them off in set installments.

Lugh69 I really liked it. I like all of Clint's movies. The movies he's starred in and the ones he's directed. The Unforgiven also co-starred Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman, pretty good actors themselves.

Lugh69 I make it 4-5 times a year. Cut the beef into long thin strips. Make a marinade. I like it spicy so I mix a couple different hot sauces with teriyaki, soy and/or worcestershire sauce and add some spices like curry, garlic, black pepper, cayenne pepper....
