Beautiful weather, it is almost always sunny. It gets pretty hot in the summer but is really dry. The wind seems to blow constantly in the spring. Mild winters usually but tons of snow within 30 minutes drive to the Sandias. Not very much rain though. Swimming holes are scarce and over populated. The food is the best. Hot chili dishes. More restaurants then any city i've been to. The crime is terrible especially in the South Valley and around Kirtland AFB. You can put the pedal to the metal when you get out away from the cities. Long drive to get to any other places.

I've had family in Albuquerque and they like it (and so do I). I like the fact that you really have a change of seasons there (I've even seen snow in winter), as opposed to a place like Phoenix, where it's hot and sunny all year 'round.
And yeah, the food is great.

I knew some of what you were saying sounded familiar to me. I've been to Albuquerque. Don't they also have horse racing there?
