My Great Great Great Grandfather, William Cook (born in Plymouth, England,1790-1874), who was the father of George, who was the father of Albert, who was the father of my grandmother, Atileti, who was the mother of my birth father, Vea Vehikite.... (The father of William was Henry Cook, who was born in 1770 ... no pic) Hmm ... I thought I was an alien

You know we all have them, even if we don't know their names

Mainly, Americans are all from European ancestors. I do not know the name of my Great Great Great Grandfather, I only know about my great great grandparents, where they are from and I know where their families were from. I am 100% Italian for the past 5 generations.

@theBlock I was born in Italy and lived there until I was about 25. We moved abroad with my husband.

@LadyDuck Italian! Cool! I've always wondered about my father's side of the family----he rarely spoke of them

That is a pretty awesome history you have there. I can't go that far back, unfortunately. And, you are still an alien!

@theBlock . Again making me laugh out loud! You may be an alien, but you should be proud of your non alien history.

@DianneN Aww ... thank you, Dianne. At least someone thinks I'm an alien. I'm getting all teary eyed now. I hope my homies don't walk in on me.

All of us are Aliens in America unless we have more Native American blood in us than English (for instance). I need to go back onto ancestry. I've heard that the DNA test has been updated again to show more specifics.
