Does Jerry Springer make the place family friendly?

For those that do not know about the show "Jerry Springer" is a TV show over here in America that usually covers stories that are hard to believe are true or just "scandalous". Usually, its like jaw dropping stuff of people cheating on people and who is the father of this child? One lady had like 20+ people tested to try and find the dad.
So my family was out eating dinner a while back... probably about a week ago! What was on TV? Jerry Springer!
I really like the food/ service or we likely would have left otherwise. I know its not as bad as some things on TV but I don't quite see that as family friendly?
What do you think? is that for kids to watch when enjoying a dinner with family? Whats the worst tv stuff you've seen in public?
Jerry springer actually isn't my worst! I think walking into a gas station playing a serial killing like movie was the worst timing! I heard gun shots and people screaming and thought the worst was happening in the store! I really thanked God when I realized it was just coming from the TV!

I would find it annoying to listen to something like that while I was eating dinner. Some restaurants in my country use the local radio stations as background noise, but I prefer a quiet place.

@Daelii Yes, in sports bars it is okay. I don't usually visit the place, but I know that the local sports bar in my area has a tv.

I dont mind a little tv in some places that are suited for it. Like sports bars it only makes sense to have TV's for the big sports games!
I didn't even really remember a TV being there. So I don't know if its new or I just now noticed it!

I think there is a time and place for Jerry Springer. That was not it.

The place otherwise, was usually pretty decent! I just will definitely think twice before going back there again. I don't watch that stuff at home because I don't want my kids to see it.
I love NCIS but even that I wait til they are in bed before I watched it!

What an inconsiderate restaurant. How can anyone enjoy a "quiet" lunch with that noise in your face? I think they should have used more discretion. I would have left.

That was the last thing I'd expect for that place! The area/ decor is very peaceful and nice to look at.
If it wasn't for having hungry kids and it already taking forever to get there for dinner.. we would totally have left. Just on that side of town our choices are limited to that place because of different food allergies!
