How Much Sleep Do You Need?

I just go up and I feel so tired. I was beeped awake because I have to get going a couple hours earlier today.
I usually get my eight hours of sleep and I feel fine, but last night I let time get away from me, I turned the light off at 2 am.
I finished canning the blackberries, got a total of eight pints of whole berries for pies, mostly. I have saved enough juice for two more batches of jelly, that is usually ten jars and I will be done with blackberries for this year. Home canning last as long as tin can foods, four years.
I had a hot bath, soaking way to long.
Then I got into a book, that always gets those extra hours.
I sure hope I "wake" up more because today will be on of those days I will find out how the next three months of my life will be like.
Have a wonderful day!

I try to get between 7&8 hours. My days of staying up past midnight are long gone.
Hope your day brings good things

I will not trade my sleep for anything in the world. I get my 7 to 8 hours. Even if we have guests they are left to fend for themselves.

@andriaperry I can not sleep any longer. Sometimes I sleep until nine over the weekends. It was from years of working graveyard and going home getting the kids ready for school and than cleaning the kitchen and finally going to sleep.

I wish I could do a schedule, with Tony being sick some night I wake at 2 am, or 4 am to go and give him meds, he coughs a lot.

@andriaperry That's why we only go out late at on rare occasions, it takes too much out of me. And then I'm an old sour puss the next day

I do not function well late at night anymore, so I seldom make it past eleven. Nine is better. Is there any chance you will get a nap?

AT least, you can make up for your lost sleep because you are a stay at home mom.
Me, I can't one weekdays.
I always only have about 6 hours of sleep. That's because I will feel sleepy only when it's 11:00 in the evening. but have to get up at 5:30 a.m. to prepare for work. I feel sleepy at work and would always yawn.
Since, I eat an early lunch at 10:00 -10:15 our snack time, I would use our one- hour lunch break's 15 minutes for napping. That will at least reinvigorate me.

I am not a stay at home mother, I don`t even have children. I am a 24/7 caregiver to a 61 year old man, cousin, in remission with lung cancer. I am a full time landlady and I am launching an online store in a couple months.
Its rare I get to nap.

@andriaperry I am very glad to be back on a more normal sleep cycle now that teacher workdays are less than 2 weeks away.

@JESSY3236 I wonder if she could sense something was wrong. Maybe your blood pressure or blood sugar changed with the bad dream, so the cat got you up.

Hi Andria, I like to sleep about 6 hours and then maybe another 4-6 hours later....so that's 10-12 for me, total.

@andriaperry Luckily, I work from home.
I don't think there's one boss out there that would put up with me. I'd be like, "Ummmm.. I need a nappy. So I'm going home now."

I sleep for 6-7 hours in the night. I am a morning person and my day starts very early at 5 AM. I have a regular nap of 1 hour in the afternoon. So I need an average of 7-8 hours everyday. i can not do without it.

I think I could have used a bit more sleep last night too. The little dog decided he needed to sleep with me.and was bouncing around early.
