Do you comment on other people's response to a discussion?

I find I rarely comment on others responses to a discussion. I think it will sometimes be useful to comment like this as it can add to the discussion and also encourage the person responding.
Do you regularly comment on other responses to any discussion at mylot?

sometimes instead of posting my own response in someone else's discussion, i would put a comment under one of the responses, then a conversation happens there say between me, the discussion starter and the one who responded.

If the responses are on my discussion at most I always comment back. But if they comment on another discussion I comment sometimes to those responses that captured my interest.

In the old mylot ways, you can't make your own response but you can make a comment on other's response. That makes a real discussion because you get to read all of the rap;onses in one discussion and interact with everybody who had responded to that one discussion. It was more fun back then.

I don't know about regularly commenting on other responses, but if I feel I have something else to contribute, or I want to tell the person I agreed with what they said, or something similar, then I might respond to a response. It really just depends on what I have to say.

I quite often comment on other peoples responses.
Also I know a few people dislike it when they get someone on their discussion that comments on responses...luckily they are in the minority.

@pitstop I don't know but I remember a few people saying they felt it was their place to comment on responses as they started the discussion.

Yes, I sure do. But only if the discussion shows up in my notifications.

@pitstop At times, yes. Other times, I read recent writings that were posted.

I have done it many a times when I have found an interesting response that captured my attention and I have got a good interaction following that.

Of course I do if I have something to say. That is how you have a discussion.

I have done it a few times, but only if I am interested in the things that were mentioned in that response.

I have left a comment on a response on a discussion and one that wasn't in my response thread. But I usually do that if I feel I have something to add/say or if I have a question I want to ask about what was being said. I never comment just for the sake of commenting or being part of a thread.
