Tasting Cherry Cola Oreos

You read right. Cherry cola Oreos and they are among the weirdest Oreo flavors I have sampled. Upon opening the package there is a strong cherry cola aroma which is not unpleasant. The flavor is so strong as to permeate the cookie parts which is more odd than bad. Oreos are all about creme filling. These are half white, half pink but not evenly distributed cookie to cookie. One can practically be all pink and another mostly white. Is white supposed to be traditional regular or flavored? Cannot tell because the pink cherry flavor spills over. There are crunchy bits in the pink the package labels as “popping candy.” They are supposed to be like carbonated fizz? Do not know. I did not care for “popping candy” because it is like eating sugar crystals. These cherry cola creme fillings are way too sweet even by Oreo standards.
