How brave are you?

There is a saying which goes like this: "A coward person will keep sound bones". I do not like the descriptive word "coward" - depending on the situation, I would rather use "sensible".
If you are afraid of heights, would you feel comfortable at the top of the tallest building - or attempt to climb a very high mountain?
With no weapon of your own, would you stay and fight someone who is armed with a gun and a knife? - or would you run for your life? - not many of us can boast of having Bruce Lee's abilities.
What are some of the things you cannot or would not do - even at the risk of being labeled a coward ? I would never attempt rock climbing -and I would not venture outdoors in a lightning storm and assure myself that I wouldn't be struck.

They can call me what they want as I will never do what that girl is doing in the picture. How did she evenget where she is?
I would never do skydiving for another thing. Not for me!

I share your fear of thunder and lightning. Not just outdoors but even when inside I get the shivers

@Kandae11 I just found this article after I read your discussion Frightening
You’ve heard the warnings about thunderstorms: Stay out of the tub, unplug your TV and don’t call people from your land line. But can you really get struck by lightning while you’re inside?

I would never swim in the middle of the ocean, 100 miles from the coast. I´m afraid of sharks

@Kandae11 I collected all my courage to do it once in Colorado. But as soon as they tied the rope to my feet, I started crying. I tried scuba diving, parachute jumping. I survived them.

I am not brave at all in a physical sense. I don't like to put myself needlessy at risk.

@Kandae11 Yeah, if someone or some animal I cared for was at risk I could become brave.

I don't like being at high, I will make my feet weak. I also do not really like being in the wilderness, because I'm so scared of toxic animals like snakes

I have faced most all of my fears. The only thing is I can`t fight a man and win, but I am working on it.

I agree with you,it is not cowardice to run away from a madman; it is but being wise. I also am afraid to go out if there's lightning.

Well, much better to try for me to know my limitation but should not risk our life. We are able to overcome our phobias if we have strong will. I'm really afraid on spider before but when I saw my nephew touching the tarantula I encourage my self to touch it too.

I can never attempt to climb a tall mountain. I am so afraid of heights. I better be called a coward.
