Health care these days in some ways is the biggest flop there is. Yes some countries might be bettdr than here in the US but lately most doctors are in a rush and dong want to take time to really check someone out and care. For instancd one of the biggest ones out there is Diabetes, Why is it so difficult for many to get the help they need? Many never even are told theyre Diabetic until something happens and then many times their sugar levels are dangerously high. Then take something like Cancer. Medical treatment anymore is based on Insurance and money instead of doctors caring. A person can really be sick and they are passed on a long until someone hopefully will listen and test them before its too late. Ovef the couse of the last yr ive lost friends to Cancer as well as a good friend be told they have cancer. Have just heard of someone who died with sugar levels over 400 but they never tested her til she was almost dead,. Are doctors and nurses and people in that respect sometimes so close minded they just forget to care? I wish somehow their could be something to help change this. Bring healthcare like it used to be. All we can do is hope and pray and be vigilant. That todsy may help many more live longer and help encourage someone else as eel,. I know for one, my story is always ready ro be told. ~~TINA~~

Yes, it is defintely important to report your symptoms to doctors and not sit back and wait until something happens.

I agree with you on this and then there our doctors that mistreat their patients and misdiagnosis them also. I am glad my doctors take time with me and care about my health and do what they can to make me live a better life.

I have such a lack of trust in the doctors around here. The cost is horrible to start off with and then they spend 10 minutes with you. With my health sometimes it is hard to do things but I keep trying and learning about what is wrong and if I can do more about it.

I don’t agree. We have excellent doctors, but they aren’t miracle workers if people aren’t proactive about their health. Yearly physicals and lab work are a must.

We have to take more care of our health - the authorities will not do it for us.

The first things Doctors want to know is do you have health insurance. If not go away.

I had health ins. for years and was moved in and out like cattle, now since my husband was laid off we have no ins. and I get better treatment now. I also found that since I don't have ins. it is cheaper to go to the doc then it was with ins. When you have it they jack the prices up
