This incident almost exploded in my own hands, so yesterday I was only briefly on myLot, fortunately, I quickly acted because the battery was held very hot and suddenly there was a fire on the left of the battery, I immediately threw it on the floor and there I was panicked besides fire out the battery smoked too. After I thought it turned out that the battery was swollen and leaky, it wasn't worthy of being on your device because it was very dangerous. Have you ever experienced it?

That's a battery for what? A cellphone? There are a lot of cheap and knock off batteries being sold in the market but I don't buy them at all. I prefer the original ones with warranty.

Original does not guarantee the battery is safe, because generally the material used by the battery contains elements that are explosive. That is why we should not use a cellphone when it is charged.

@toniganzon New technology is usually safer because it saves electricity and the ability to handle temperatures is very stable.

@Jessabuma although the brand is quite popular in the market but I have a list of some smartphones that can explode: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 The recent Redmi Note 4 explosion occurred. PhoneRadar's YouTube account uploaded a video of a Chinese-made mobile phone explorer in a shop in India. Reportedly, the Redmi Note 4 exploded after the shopkeeper tried to insert a SIM into the smartphone, then the device released a fire suddenly. Galaxy Note 7 The Galaxy Note 7 was widely reported to have exploded in August 2016. It was reported that a Galaxy Note 7 in China exploded when the owner charged. Also reported, based on the results of the investigation, Samsung found that a negative electrode in the upper right corner of battery A leaked. The company also found that the tip of the electrode was on an incorrect curve. This is what makes the battery short. iPhone 6 The iPhone 6 in 2014 was reportedly burned in a pants pocket. A user named Philip Lechter felt heat in his thighs. After he checked, the iPhone 6 produced a puff of smoke and produced burns on his right leg. Galaxy S4 Before the Galaxy Note 7 was busy reportedly began to be pulled because of issues on batteries, Samsung had previously swallowed a bitter pill because the Galaxy S4 reportedly exploded and burned one room in Hong Kong. Based on information from Xianguo, a man named Du claimed his Samsung Galaxy S4 exploded and caused a fire which caused one room in his house to burn. Xiaomi Mi 4i Xiaomi Mi 4i reportedly exploded and burned suddenly in an office in India. In the video description, it was stated that the cellphone was operating normally. Luckily the man who was near the cellphone immediately realized the sparks coming out of the cellphone, then rushed away from the handset. OnePlus One OnePlus One cellphone is reported to have been burned while charging. Twitter user in India named Deepak Gosain shared the burning OnePlus One picture. The device was apparently charged for two hours before it caught fire. LG G3 A user found an LG G3 cellphone exploding on a mattress. This was stated to occur suddenly, although previously there was no sign that the cellphone was experiencing excessive heat. Avoiding the burning of an expanding fire, the user finally throws the mattress out the window.

That's scary! Which phone is it? Was this the original battery that came with the phone or a replacement battery that exploded?

From the cellphone itself that does not automatically disconnect when the battery is full. I have the original battery and the counterfeit battery both are the same when it swells, dangerous!

No I haven't experienced it. I was only using Nokia until 2014 and iPhone 5s in 2015. I always switch iPhone to airplane mode when charging or when it's hot. I power off androids when charging or when hot.

Good advice, because lastly I only have Android and hopefully this can be a learning why we have to be careful with technology that is always competitive.

@AkoPinay I understand, the explosion incident was only initiated by the default application of the smartphone product (there is no install with a low reputation). I'll try the app later!
