Day 32
Mark 11:12
Mark 11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter forever. And his disciples heard it.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.
20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 And Peter calling to remembrance said unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away.
22 And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Life is full of situations, which make us marvel and wonder, causing us to think about possibilities. If someone can really do what was done, then someone else can too.
Jesus was hungry, and saw a fig tree that looked like it would have figs on it, even though it wasn’t the season for figs yet. However, there weren’t any figs, and Jesus cursed it, and it withered from the roots.
Jesus’ disciples saw and heard what was done, and marveled and asked Jesus about it. His answer astonished them. You can have whatever you believe, without doubt.
The realm of possibilities opened to them, and not only them, but everyone who believes they will have what they’ve longed for their entire lives.
As Christians, you know faith plays a huge part in obtaining your dreams. Without faith to believe, you won’t be able to move mountains. You won’t be able to see your dreams become realities. You must have faith to believe, without doubt, and you will have whatever your heart desires.
David gave you a road map in receiving your heart’s desire.
Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Your roadmap to the desires of your heart, to removing the mountain in your way, is simple. When you put your complete faith and trust in God, he will give you the desires of your heart. When you do, not only will doubt flee, but your faith will also grow. Faith not in your own abilities, but in what God will do for you.
Is there a catch to receiving whatsoever we desire?
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture said in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy?
6 But he gives more grace. Wherefore he said, God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Having faith and believing you will receive whatsoever you ask for is a lot of work because Satan will come against your dreams and desires. He will find a different purpose for what you want, making it something evil instead of good.
Follow David’s roadmap to your dreams and desires. Then the mountain that stands in your way will be easily removed because you will have faith in God to move it, and nothing will stand in your way.
You will even be able to come against those who want to make a mockery of God, as Jesus did when he went to the temple in Jerusalem and overturned the tables of the moneychangers. He proclaimed God’s purpose for the temple, and it wasn’t for merchandizing, but prayer.
Is there something you need to overturn in your life? What mountain stands in your way? Take hold of God’s promise. Have faith without doubt, and those mountains will be moved, and you will overturn the destruction in your life and become a new person in Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV)
Will you move mountains today?
Let’s pray: Father, help me move mountains by trusting you and committing my life to you. Remove doubt and fear from me, make me new from the inside out, so nothing will ever stand in my way again, and Satan will not be able to sway me with words of destruction to what you have planned for my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

Each day I wake up I am thankful that God gives me ability to do my job and continue on. That is how I know God is moving mountains.
