Hope you are all doing well today. Now that the wedding is over I am going to try and get back into mylotting more. The summer is flying by. We haven't even done any camping. Yesterday we went to the beach for the first time in two years. We've had a beautiful summer here. If anything it has been too hot but I don't like to complain about that because it won't be long before the snow is flying again.
I am still at my job. Two people were let go and replaced and they reassure the rest of us that our jobs are secure but you never know here. I have seen many people be here for years and then they are gone without any notice. Just take it day to day and see what happens.
So what are you all up to today? I am back to work after having six days off. It was a nice little break.

I am so glad to hear from you! I am also glad you still have your job.
I work three jobs now, one is new and I hope will replace the others eventually.

The beach trip sounds nice. I am glad you still have your job. It is the summer and the kids are home. We are enjoying it as much as we can.

Well, I can't say that I'm back for real but I hope I'm here to check on mylotters who are still active and to wish them well. I'm happy to see that you are still around and promising to keep the mylotting flame burning. Best of wishes for your job and have an nice time.

Its great that you're going to be back on the site more frequently again.
Have they restored the campgrounds and rec areas back to where they should be after all of that flooding earlier this year?
I've been off of work since July 12th, I took a really bad backwards fall and am still in physio trying to get back to where I should be physically.

@Happy2BeMe I hadn't heard much about the rebuilding process out east, so I wondered the status of it.
I just got back from physio. This week's exercise is to practise a forward gentle nod. This is a long recovery, and I'm not the most patient person in the world, and I have 1 speed-and its fast.

Some campgrounds are and some never reopened since the flood.

Yes that was the case and it makes me feel uneasy because they always do things behind our backs and we never know. On a positive note though they just took on a new client who requested I do all the graphic works for his company so they need me here for that.

I will post some pictures soon. It has just been a bit crazy with all that has been going on. Some campsites were repaired but other parks did not even reopen after the flooding.

Wow, I hope you had a wonderful time at the beach. Summer is officially over here in our country. It's the rainy season already. I wanted to go to the beach too but it's been raining and I have been busy lately. I have just enrolled in a freelancing course and there are so many assignments (part of the training) that I need to accomplish. Plus, I am looking for another online job that will help support my needs.
