I went to the market to buy vegetables this morning. I met someone who sold fresh lotus seeds.
I bought some for my daughter. She likes to eat fresh lotus seeds. Just peel off the green skin. Then peel off the layer of skin outside the seed. White seeds can be eaten directly.
Lotus seeds are rich in nutrition. It's also rich in protein. It can clear the heat and detoxify.
Do you like fresh lotus seeds?

I don't think they sell them here..you might have to go to an Asian market.

@SIMPLYD We have durian in the supermarket. If I don't smell it and hold my breath. I think it's tasty.

Lotus nut is a little bitter. It can play a role in clearing heat and detoxifying. After we took it out, the lotus seeds had no bitter taste. Even fresh lotus seeds can be a little sweet.

The fresh lotus seed is not too bitter, and the dried lotus seed is a little bitter. But also, they are very nutritious. Some people use it to make lotus seed porridge. I often use it when I make soybean milk.

@caopaopao wow, I heard that these lotus seeds are very expensive. Some told me that eating them will make you young forever or something.

Fresh lotus seeds can be eaten directly after peeling. Dried lotus seeds can be cooked in porridge.
