What do you think?

August 12, 2018 10:28am CST
Hi! Since it was Sunday today and I had some extra time to ponder upon my thoughts, fear and inhibitions. I was wondering if love relationships are worthy enough to spend time and energy. I went through heartbreaks in my previous relationships hence I am too cautious or should I say too afraid to get into another relationship. At the same time, I hate that I don't have someone with whom I can share my happiness and sorrow. I am confused... What do you think?

Love is the greatest of all emotions. We need it. However, finding the right person is a real challenge. Take your time.

@Bluemermaid Learn to be happy and then it won't matter. You can wait till you are no longer confused. Find a few good friends. Find a few things that you really enjoy that you can do alone. Write some great songs and put them on YouTube so that others can enjoy your talent.

The confusion is if I want to find that person or I am better off single.

The only way you can experience true love (of any kind) if by giving time and energy. You donĀ“t have to dive into a relation, but nothing will come out of fear.

Give yourself some time to get out the heartbreaks completely..then you can decide about having relationship later ..spend time with your friends.

Hey! thanks for your advice. However I am finding it hard to get out of whatever I have gone through in past. It is more like trauma... The memories are flashbacks of bad time.

Here is what I learned. The longest love relationship one can have is the one they have with themself. You must learn to love yourself first. Most of our lives are spent learning this lesson. Being single, (and I have been single all of my 54 years) is the opportunity presented to us to get to know and love ourself. Stop looking OUTWARD for love. Focus on growing the love that is WITHIN you.

Finding a right person is a little tough. When you meet one, you will be the best person to say if he is right for you or not. If you find the right person, invest your time and effort to make it work.
