Do you cut the crusts off your sandwiches?

I have never been one to do this as it seems a waste of bread, but I did it today, thinking I would save a few calories by doing so. The only time I have had crustless sandwiches is at a reception or something where they were served, or I have eaten those Smucker's uncrustables too from the freezer case. Crusts or no crusts for your sandwiches?

I used to cut off the crusts for various grandkids, but they out grew it.

@snowy22315 When our grandson was with us (he was a premie), to encourage him to gain weight, I would cut his PBJ sandwiches in different shapes like his initials.

@snowy22315 I think they taste bad compared to the rest of the bread.

Yes, you could also make croutons with the crusts. I do enjoy croutons on salads.

@snowy22315 I use another kind of bread to make croutons, but you can surely use the crust.

Maybe only eat half of the sandwich and save the other half for another time. I do not cut the crusts off. I know some people like it better with them cut off.

Homemade baked bread fresh from the oven. The crust is the best part!

I buy crustless bread once in a while. It is sold with no crust but it is more expensive. I only use it when I will have a cocktail party where I will prepare canapes. I make normal sandwiches with other kinds of bread.

I always tear the crust off my sandwiches. I don't like the crust and the only time I will eat it is when I toast it or make a grilled cheese sandwich.

I think it's stupid that there are people that don't eat crusts. Lol. They are part of the bread .

My friend never eats pizza crusts..the back portion, which I think is a waste although it does save calories, however, he is not really overweight.
